                Park is less than 5 minutes from fast food and restaurants in Bullhead and 10 minutes from the Riverside Hotel

Accommodations in Bullhead

                We checked four places in Bullhead, from a Best Western to an older motor inn (many of which we had found

                on the Internet) and didn’t find anything that fit our needs.  Either the parking was too cramped and /or

                there was no way to charge our batteries.  Any place in Bullhead will be 30-40 minutes from the lake.

Don’t forget…

                You will need an AZ or NV non-resident license and reciprocal stamp

                Information regarding license requirements at (http://www.nps.gov/lake/planyourvisit/fishing.htm), but you will                 need to purchase the license from the Fish & Game.

                You also need an AIS decal on your boat.

                You are required to have a pass to enter the Katherine Landing Park (part of the Lake Mead National Recreation                 Area).  These passes can be purchased at the gate or beforehand online.

                                Vehicle = 1-7 day pass $10

                                Vessel = 1-7 day pass $16

                Make your reservations early because the snowbirds start arriving in mid to late October and they make plans                 early.

                Historical temptation range for March 52 – 79 degrees, rain average ¾ in.
